The company is seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Team Member to join our team. Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize irrigation tasks assigned by the Production and/or Account Manager, focusing on emergency repairs and projects.
- Utilize technology to track progress, maintain resources, and update job statuses in company software.
- Diagnose and repair irrigation systems for new installations and existing properties, collaborating with the Production Manager for troubleshooting.
- Address irrigation issues covered under limited warranties and communicate required repairs to clients with maintenance contracts.
- Install and program irrigation controllers, ensuring proper quality control and documentation of irrigation plans using company software.
- Conduct irrigation assessments on maintenance properties and submit reports to the Account Manager.
- Promote and upsell irrigation products and services to meet monthly sales goals.
- Assist Team Leaders and Project Managers with irrigation layout, installations, and training team members on best practices.
- Consult with Team Leaders and Project Managers on material ordering and aid in irrigation design and cost estimation.
- Monitor newly installed irrigation systems and adjust watering schedules based on weather conditions.
- Review monthly inventory of irrigation supplies and coordinate necessary orders with the Account Manager or Project Manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2-3 years of landscape maintenance experience.
- 3-5 years of management experience.
- Knowledge of estimating, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Basic measurement and calculation skills.
- Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Broad understanding of horticulture and landscape construction.
- Familiarity with materials and labor costs.
- Proficiency in technology and software applications.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
- Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal communication skills for internal and external interactions.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Familiarity with irrigation tools and equipment.
