Quality Supervisor

PROJECTXYZ is looking for a Quality Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directly supervising all personnel within your department by leading and developing people, processes and systems that ensure the highest safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.

Essential functions
• Manage scheduling, employee timecards, and operational policies.
• Ensure that the team’s work gets done on time, effectively, and in accordance with quality requirements.
• Planning, promoting, and organizing training activities for quality and reliability
• Work to expedite resolutions to customer concerns and investigate complaints
• Assist in reporting quality metrics to management and provide regular updates to the quality team.
• Drive improvements in quality operations and identify, solve, and prevent problems.
• Oversee product quality management programs and ensure that products are safe, high quality, and meet specifications.
• Capable of managing the final inspection process according to the engineering requirements, Control Plan and Inspection Work Instructions designed by Quality Management and Engineers.
• Capable of managing the Process Audit Plan designed by the Process Quality Engineers.
• Initiate and retain necessary quality records, from incoming materials through final audit, in accordance with corporate and group policy.
• Capable of managing the members to implement the containment actions for the supplier defects at the production line.
• Assist in implementing quality metrics to monitor internal performance such as Final Inspection Report, Process Audit Report and Containment (Sorting/Rework)
• Capable of facilitating the MRB (Material Review Board) for proper NCM transaction with cross-functional team members from Processing and Production.
• Professionally adheres to company rules and policies.
• Performs all other duties necessary to ensure business success.


Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in managing personnel in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Excellent Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to delegate

Work environment:
• Manufacturing Facility

Physical Factors:
• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to work overtime and the weekend if quality support for production is required.
