Web Developer III; Information Technology Services

The University of North Alabama is accepting applications for the position of Web Developer III.  This position is a senior-level position responsible for development, management, and enhancement of university web properties. This role involves leading projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring that all digital communication aligns with the University’s strategic goals. This position serves as a primary expert in web technologies, guiding the implementation of best practices, and driving innovation in digital projects. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Minimum qualifications for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent is required; a minimum of five years of experience in web development, with a focus on/serving as the lead of digital projects is required; advanced proficiency in HTML5,CSS, PHP, MySQL, jQuery, and JavaScript are required; a bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field is preferred; experience in related technologies is preferred; extensive experience with CMS, particularly in higher education or enterprise environments, is preferred; and experience mentoring junior developers is preferred.
