This is a professional position involving the concepts, principles, and practices of Civil Engineering and Land Surveying under the authority of the Mayor and governing body. The position requires supervision of both professional and non-professional employees, providing a wide range of civil engineering services. The position requires coordination with various federal, state, and local organizations and agencies concerning the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of various public work facilities. This position requires the ability to conduct studies, implement, and supervise programs as approved by the Mayor and governing body.
