United Way Witches Ride

United Way of Northwest Alabama's Annual Witches Ride is happening Thursday, October 24th at 6:00pm starting at Wilson Park. We're excited to have a parade of witches and warlocks riding bicycles, golf carts, or walking with brooms, as they throw candy to children lining Court Street in downtown Florence. This is a fundraiser for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, which is run by United Way of Northwest Alabama for Colbert, Lauderdale, Franklin, and Marion Counties.

In addition to the Witches Ride, there will be an after-party in downtown Florence. Participating restaurants will each offer specials for witches, including a miniature signature cocktail or mocktail and appetizers.

The cost for each participant is $35 (which is the cost to sponsor one child for one year for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library), whether you choose to walk, ride a bike, or bring a golf cart! Each participant on a golf cart must pay a registration fee.
